Through Westco Development"s relationships with over 100 national tenants over the last 30 years, we are able to not only fill our shopping centers and new projects, but we are also able to assist our clients fill their projects, wether existing or a new development.

Westco Development views leasing as one of the critical factors to maximizing the performance of each property. We are constantly seeking unique, new retail concepts to complement national and regional retailers, and increase sales. Growing retailers look to us to take advantage of our development expertise to accommodate their expansion plans.

Our leasing staff is well seasoned in retail leasing. They are responsible for attracting new tenants, negotiating leases and creating the optimum tenant mix for a property regardless of its location.

Westco Development has been involved in multiple Home Depot and Lowe’s projects. Other key tenants who are, or have been a part of Westco’s developments include major traditional and non-traditional retailers doing business in the East and West. Major grocery chains such as Kroger (Ralphs), Safeway, A&P, Stop & Shop, Shaws and most national drug chains such as Walgreens, Brooks, and CVS are located in Westco Development centers. In addition, specialty grocers like Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods Market and Wildcats are located in our centers. Adding to the list of Westco Development tenants are value-oriented discount tenants such as Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, T.J. Maxx and Old Navy.

Our leasing expertise enables us to choose optimum merchandising mix for each property, regardless of location. We recruit the retail, restaurant, entertainment and mixed use tenants most likely to succeed to increase revenues and minimize vacancy, now and in the years to come.
